LED LIGHT BARS

If you live in Australia, depending on your state, there may be certain regulations which determine whether you can mount a light bar to the roof of your vehicle. But mounting a light bar to the front bumper, nudge bar or bull bar is completely legal in all Australian states. However, the most important thing to note is that the light bar cannot obscure your vision in any way. That means mounting it to the top of your bull bar is illegal. ‘Lumens’ measure the brightness of a light. While this information can be useful, when buying a light bar, look for its ‘lux’ instead. This is the intensity of the light. The lux determines how far ahead you can actually see, which is more meaningful in the real world than a lumens value.
